Ever since the 1234’s "PoggioBrandani" belongs to the Brandani Family who has always lived and worked in these lands.

The village is located on a top of a hill (poggio) just above the Parish Church of San Giusto in Salcio a few kilometers from Radda in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico area.

The company today has 120 acres of land of which 62 are devoted to specialized vineyards, 10 to olive groves and the rest to forest; the cellar is equipped for winemaking, aging and bottling.

The Company is open all year for Wine Tours with:

- introduction and historical notes;

- guided tour of the photo gallery, with photos made by a member of the Family in the early years of the past century illustrating the jobs in the field, the local festivities, the architecture, portraits of people, …;

- guided tour of the Barrique room, the oldest part of the Winery,

- guided tour of the Museum, focusing on the olive oil and wine-making traditions and the country life (objets and tools used at home and in the field);

- wine tasting.
