La Rocca is situated on a luminous hill with a beautiful view of the Val di Pesa. Furthermore, La Rocca is located on a hiking path suggested in the Italian Alpine Club guide, being too a historical pilgrim’s path. La Rocca, already mentioned in the archives before the 13th century, represents the simple beauty of a Tuscan farm house with its “terracotta” tiles and wooden ceilings. The rooms are simple, country style and romantic, in line with this no television or telephone.La Rocca offers relaxation in our garden and refreshing in our little swimming pool. We offer Italian breakfast in the antique "loggiato", in the garden, or in your rooms if you wish. You will easily reach the most famous cities of cultural interest in Tuscany: Florence centre, Piazzale Michelangelo in 30 minutes by car and Siena, which is about 40 km away. After visiting Siena, we recommend to try the natural hot water (sulfurian) baths further south - Rapolano Terme (San Giovanni), Bagno Vignoni. It is worthwile to spend one journey at the seaside of Cecina or Golfo Baratti.
