Il Poggetto is an ancient farmhouse of the fifteenth century, deep in the Chianti countryside, stands on a hill from where the eye gaze wanders to 360 ° in a unique landscape, among cypress trees, olive trees and grapevines just as you imagine Tuscany.
We felt in love at first sight with this place and we have carefully and personally restored these houses, under its original appearance and using typical materials such as terracotta floors and wooden beams for the ceiling.

Il Poggetto offers 3 apartments for 2 and 4 people and a larger independent house for 5 / 6 people. Each apartment has a private entrance and a large outdoor loggia, with table and chairs, to let you fully enjoy the relaxation that we wish to offer you.
The large garden of more than 2 hectares is cared  with passion, full of plants and flowers and surrounded by cypress trees. Our hill is pleasantly breezy in summer and the good weather will allow you to enjoy the panoramic swimming pool, equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas.
The tranquility and silence are guaranteed, nothing will disturb you while enjoying a beautiful, romantic sunset, perhaps while tasting a good Chianti wine, before cooking a great Florentine steak, on our barbecue.

All our apartments are equipped with satellite TV, fan, safe, independent heating, and each kitchen is properly equipped with microwave, fridge with freezer and utensils.
Furthermore  included in the price you will have bed linen, towels and even the final cleaning.
If you travel with children, they are always welcome and we will provide you a complimentary baby bed(on request).
Should you need a washing machine and iron you can use a common  room we specifically equipped for these needs.
At your disposal, in the apartments you will find useful information on restaurants, supermarkets, street markets, local festivals, as well as trekking trails, and more could be of your interest.
For your convenience there is a private parking within the property.
 
Our house is beautifully located in a central position between villas, castles and ancient villages, and in no time you can reach by car the beautiful Florence, but also Fiesole, Vinci, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra. If you want to spend each day to discover a different city, and reach the sea.
Il Poggetto is located 3 Km from Montespertoli, a country famous for the oil and wine, so you will have the opportunity to visit local producers, and taste and buy directly from the farm.
