Old farmhouse carefully restored, originally inhabited by the writer Vasco Pratolini, maintaining its original characteristic intact it has been transformed into a welcoming holiday villa. Set on the slopes of the Pratomagno high mountains rising from the Arno valley, the house is surrounded by terraces of olive groves leading down to the road of the Seven Bridges built on the remains of an old Etruscan road.

Close by the house on a natural terrace surrounded by olive groves and oak woods there is a children’s play area. In a sunny spot with lovely views a nice 10x4 meter swimming pool (depth m. 1,40) equipped with loungers, tables and sun umbrellas. An old hay barn close by has been turned into a reading room with a small shop where local products are sold (available only for the guests). In front of the house there is a pretty wooden gazebo with table, chairs and barbecue for outdoor meals.

Laundry room with washing machine and iron, Satellite tv, dish-washer, freezer, microwave, high chair, playpen, oven, filter coffee maker, toaster, DVD player, fly screens and safe are at full guests disposal.

The house is suitable also for big party rentals (up to 20 persons) considering that a few hundred meters far there is the house CA' DI VESTRO belonging to the same owner.

FIRST FLOOR: with access by an external stone staircase, sitting room, two double bedrooms one of which with en suite bathroom with shower, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.

NOTES 2010:

• The pool is open from 01/05 to 09/10
• Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 30 each one per week
• For bookings of two or more weeks, the owner will make a cleaning of the house at the end of each week (free of charge)
• Swimming towels are included in the price
